Have You Seen the Light Yet?

So we're nearing the end of summer, and what a wonderful summer it has been. Full of lazy days and cold cider and barbecues (yes, even in Ireland!). There've been a few trips away and I still have a vacation in Italy to look forward to before we hit September.

My favorite part of summer is the weekends--the long, hot weekends spent lounging in the back garden and enjoying the sun. Same as last year and the year before. But I've noticed one difference.

Usually, when I'm relaxing in the sun, I always have a book in my hand. A thriller, a romance, the lastest Harry Potter...But this year, I'm not flicking through the pages of a book. Instead, I have my computer in my lap and I'm enjoying the lastest e-books from some of the best erotic romance authors around.

I was thinking about this change while I was in bed last night (it was too hot to sleep). Of course, I still read the occasional paperback. Sometimes there's nothing better than holding a book in your hands. But these days, for the most part, I'm an ebook junkie! And for many reasons too.

I love that I can store all my ebooks on my computer. I love that I can buy an ebook in any length I want-novella, novel or super-short story. I love that ebooks offer so many themes that you just don't find in print books. I love that they're not super-expensive and that I don't have to leave the house to pick one up.

So what about you? Have you been converted yet? Are you still sticking with the paperbacks, or can I persuade you to try out a piece of the ebook pie?
